EMPLOYEE STORIES
Tim’s career at stahlotec started with a three-week internship while he was still at school. Even in this short time, he was able to prove he was good with his hands. One year later, Tim started a metalworker’s apprenticeship with us, specialising in design engineering. He completed his apprenticeship in 2013. But Tim’s drive didn’t slow down once he’d earned a permanent position as metalworker with us. He wanted more – and we wanted to help him achieve it. With his initial training complete, Tim moved straight on to vocational college, where he took classes alongside his new day job. As a result his hard work, Tim was awarded the title of “Master Metalworker” in 2016.
But he didn’t stop there, either – now, Tim wanted to take on more responsibility at the company, so he took another two years of further training. Now, Tim’s business card reads: International Welding Specialist, Occupational Health and Safety Specialist and Apprentice Supervisor. What an achievement!
